The Brief

Make one minute of reading worth opening an app for.

NIW's founders wanted a content product with a hard constraint: every piece of content is a 90-word card a professional can absorb in under a minute, personalized to their interests and sector. The UX had to make that constraint feel generous, not thin - onboarding that learns interests fast, a feed that respects attention, and a resume-based personalization layer underneath.

What We Built

UX-first, then engineered for the constraint.

Full UX Flow First

The complete journey - onboarding, interest capture, feed, detail, favorites - was designed and validated before build began.

Interest-Based Personalization

Sector and topic selection during onboarding shapes every card the feed serves afterward.

Profile & Resume Layer

Bio and resume upload feed customized cards and opportunity matching, with explicit user consent.

Outcomes

Small app, spotless record.

Every rating NIW has ever received is five stars. That's what UX-first and QA-first look like at any scale.
